We kick off today’s update with Business Roundtable, a pro-business lobby group with CEOs of the largest U.S. companies as members, redefining a corporation’s purpose. Satisfying shareholders is no longer positioned as the top reason for why corporations exist. Tim Cook signed his name to the group’s revised statement. The discussion includes how I think Cook is changing the Apple CEO role. We then turn to a CNBC report indicating Apple saw a wave of health talent departures. The email concludes with my thoughts on the rumor that Apple Arcade will be priced at $4.99 per month.
