We kick off today’s update with Bloomberg’s report on Apple planning to bundle its various content distribution services. The discussion goes over the two primary benefits for Apple found with bundling, the benefit for consumers, and the big risk found with bundling. The update then turns to Samsung’s hardware event held last week. We go over why Samsung’s sales pitch is becoming increasingly difficult to make. We conclude with additional comments on the newest Above Avalon article, “Apple’s Ecosystem Growth Is Accelerating.” The discussion goes over why accelerating ecosystem growth is one of the most important business-related topics facing Apple today.
