However, with each story we are getting a different perspective of the same problem that seems to be on the rise in the “tech industry,” a purposely board term that now includes entertainment and health/fitness.

When gauging the competitiveness between the giants, Apple and Amazon seem to be positioned as fierce rivals. However, the overlap between the two companies remains measured (for now). We begin with a look at how Amazon’s business continues to be misunderstood. After going over the part of Amazon’s business that continues to frustrate Wall Street, we compare Amazon’s advertising revenue to revenue totals associated with other ad-driven business models. Each email is 2,000 words and includes Neil’s analysis and perspective on the most important stories and news impacting Apple. Unlike other paid emails that may sporadically talk about Apple, every Above Avalon daily update is focused on Apple. New updates are sent Monday through Thursday.
